Astron Limiter 0.2.0 — macOS installation

1. Save your projects and close all audio hosts before installing.
2. Extract the ZIP, open the included .pkg and follow Apple's Installer.
Administrator authorization is required for the system-wide locations:
   /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Astron Limiter.component
   /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Astron Limiter.vst3
3. Reopen your DAW and rescan plug-ins if it does not scan automatically.
Use AU or VST3 as supported by your host. Logic uses AU; other hosts may
support either format. Choose one format consistently for a project.

Upgrade and rollback
Before upgrading, preserve the previous download and save a project backup.
Close every host. Move any older same-product copies from the per-user
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components and VST3 folders to a backup folder outside
plug-in scan locations; they can otherwise shadow the system copy. Preserve
those backups until your projects have been checked with the new version.
To roll back, close hosts and reinstall the previous package.

Uninstall
Close all audio hosts. Remove only the two Astron Limiter bundles at the system paths
above and any same-product duplicates in your per-user plug-in folders.
Administrator authorization may be needed. Rescan your host. Removing the
plug-in does not remove it from saved projects; those projects need it for recall.

Troubleshooting
Confirm the host supports AU or VST3 and macOS 11 or later. Check its plug-in
manager for a failed scan and retry/rescan using that DAW's instructions.
For example, Ableton Live offers a plug-in rescan in Settings/Preferences.
Check both user and system folders for duplicate copies. Retain the original
signed package; do not disable macOS security or modify its signed bundles.
No internet connection is needed to use the installed plug-in.
